Expanding Landscapes
Create Bold, Expressive Abstract Landscapes and Love What You Paint!
Five expressive abstract landscape projects that will completely change how you see a canvas.
There is something so satisfying about painting landscapes that feel big and alive and full of atmosphere. Not tight. Not detailed. Just expressive and bold and completely your own.
That is exactly what this class is about.
In Expanding Landscapes we paint five complete projects together, working with charcoal, acrylics, trowels and big expressive brushstrokes to create abstract landscapes full of depth, movement and personality. I will show you how I mix and balance colour, how I build texture and atmosphere in layers, and how to trust your instincts when a painting starts telling you where it wants to go. By the end of this class you will have five beautiful paintings and a whole new way of approaching a blank canvas.
What’s inside the class?

Hi, I’m Nikol!
Hi I'm Nikol. I've been painting and teaching for over 15 years and landscapes hold a very special place in my heart. Growing up on Vancouver Island surrounded by mountains, sea and sky probably has something to do with that! My paintings have found homes with collectors all over the world and I've had the joy of teaching over 2,000 students online.
In Expanding Landscapes I am sharing everything I love about painting big expressive abstract landscapes with depth, atmosphere and feeling.
I cannot wait to paint with you.
