What’s Inside the Class

  • Artist Nikol Wikman is painting an abstract artwork on a canvas with various colors and brushstrokes.

    Lesson 1

    Simply Sweet

A loose first project to warm up your hands and your colour mixing. Fresh palette, easy marks, and a gentle introduction to the rhythm of the class.

The signature roller technique meets playful drips and bold motion. The lesson where loose painting really starts to feel free.

  • Nikol Wikman wearing a blue shirt and splattered paint pants is painting an abstract, textured canvas with neutral and pastel colors on an easel in a studio. Art supplies such as brushes, paints, and spray bottles are visible on a table.

    Lesson 4

    Flirtatious

Limited palette, fast-paced painting, confident marks. A lesson in trusting yourself and committing to your colour choices.

  • Close-up of a person's hand holding a paintbrush, painting black and white splashes on a canvas with white paint and a palette nearby.

    Lesson 5

    Blossoming Romance

A smiling woman with dark brown hair and light skin holding a paint roller in front of an abstract, colorful wall.

Hi, I'm Nikol.

I've been painting and teaching for over fifteen years. My paintings hang in homes around the world and are licensed in home decor stores across North America and Europe. But what brings me the most joy is teaching.

Feels Like Flowers is the class I made for the painter who just wants to have fun at the canvas. No big transformation, no big pressure. Just five floral projects painted loose and joyful, with a real-time bonus lesson where I'll show you how to recover when things don't go as planned.

I can't wait to paint with you.
