I love when a painting has a little bit of a game going on inside it. Hide and Seek is exactly that. Soft neutrals lay down a calm and easy foundation and then little bursts of colour start appearing everywhere, playing off each other and keeping your eye moving around the canvas in the most satisfying way.
It is a happy painting. Calm on the surface with a lot of joy underneath. Exactly the kind of thing I love to make.
The 36x18" format is one of my favourites for versatility. It works on its own in a smaller space or as part of a larger gallery wall arrangement. And it is a really lovely way to bring your first original painting home.
36x18" acrylic on canvas on 1.5" deep stretcher bars. Sides are painted so framing is completely optional. Price in CAD.
