Something cool happens when you're driving along the coast. You catch glimpses of the water through the trees, little flashes of blue between the trunks. Then all of a sudden the trees open up and there it is. It may have been beside you for miles, hidden by the forest lining the shore.

This piece reminds me of that feeling. The excitement when the place you've been headed is finally in view and you know you're almost there.

Pale blue, glowing yellow and hints of the softest pink fill the sky and water, contrasting with the deeper navy, olive and umber coastline. Hints of rust, pink and orange along with shimmers of metallic gold bring it all to life.

For my US Collectors

I’m still very happy to ship my original artwork to the US, and shipping remains complimentary. However, as of August 22, 2026, US Customs is applying a 50% import duty to original artwork arriving from Canada. This fee is collected by US Customs rather than by me and will need to be paid by the buyer before the parcel is released. Please read the US shipping notice before ordering so there are no unexpected surprises.

Paintings larger than 30x40 ship rolled in a protective tube for safe travel, ready for stretching by your local framer (I'll include simple instructions to pass along).

International collectors, you'll have a choice for how your painting travels. Free or low cost shipping with the canvas rolled in a tube, or, if you prefer it to arrive stretched and ready to hang, I'm happy to get a shipping quote for the full canvas. Whatever works best for you.

Please note that any customs duties, tariffs, VAT, or import taxes charged by your country are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the painting price or shipping cost. These vary by country and are collected by your local customs office on delivery. If you would like a rough estimate before purchasing, I am happy to help you look into it.
