I painted this one during those late summer days. You know the ones. Afternoons when the hours move slow, the air is hot and nothing feels better than floating in the cool water.

I painted this one with blue washes on one side, bright spring greens on the other, with little pops of pink and warm cream layered through the middle. There is so much texture in this piece. Layers built up and scraped back, soft marks left and partly covered, until she felt like a place I wanted to keep returning to.
One of a kind and painted with so much joy.
30x30" acrylic on canvas on 1.5" deep stretcher bars. Sides are painted so framing is completely optional.
